Frequently asked questions

What qualifications do I need to partner with Fornax?

We are looking for installers who are primarily focussed on heat pump installations. We appreciate the wide range of experience and training pathways that currently exist, that's why we look at each partner individually. 

If I order plant through you, do you add margin?

No. If you want us to order your equipment to help with your cashflow, we can order it from our merchant partners. We don't add any margin to this service - we'll never charge more for the equipment than you could get it for yourself.

Can I use the umbrella for jobs that don't take your finance product?

Yes, the umbrella service is for all your heat pump jobs, not just for those customers taking the Heat Pump Plan

Are there any hidden costs?

No, the pass through payments for each job are capped at £150. There is an optional Accelerated Payment Service - available for £200 per job - where Fornax will send you the full £7,500 BUS Grant (less our costs) on completion of the project, rather than waiting for Ofgem to pay the voucher. That's it!

We have invested in modern, automated systems that do the heavy lifting for us, so our costs to support you are low.

Every quote pack Fornax sends out for you includes our Heat Pump Plan as an option for customers, so we have a greater chance to help customers by working with you on your projects.

In order to ensure risk is minimised across all parties, Fornax's umbrella requires us to be the quoting and contracting entity. Our professionally designed quote packs are customised to your brand, so the quote the customer gets is recognisably yours.
